Animoca Brands Japan Partners With Drecom To Expand Japan’s Web3 Gaming Sector
Animoca Brands Japan has partnered with Drecom Corporation in an effort to globally expand Japan’s Web3 gaming sector through various titles from well-known IPs.
Animoca Brands Japan, a subsidiary of the leading investor in blockchain gaming, has officially formed a partnership with entertainment company Drecom Corporation, in order to support a global expansion of Japan’s Web3 gaming sector.
Partnership Details
The two parties have decided to unite in their efforts of spreading the country’s Web3 gaming sector by agreeing to undergo full-scale efforts in overseas expansion of a variety of different games from popular IPs. Next to this ambitious endeavor, the two sides will also look to explore initiatives that will help form a connection between Drecom’s license of the Wizardry IP, and Animoca Brands’ global ecosystem. To key to making these initiatives a reality is Eternal Crypt – Wizardry BC, a free-to-play strategic blockchain game that is currently in development.
The co-chief operating officer of Animoca Brands, Minh Do, said the following in the official announcement:

The announcement also reveals that Animoca Brands Japan from here on is ‘committed’ to making contributions to the gaming industry and to supporting various “web3 ventures and project activations” across a range of different industries.
