Delysium releases The World’s First Playable Whitepaper

The developers of Delysium have released the world’s first playable whitepaper.

This whitepaper has players stroll their way through a 2D pixelated cyberpunk-themed area, interacting with NPCs referred to as AI MetaBeings, whose dialogue reflects the choices you make interacting with the characters. If you accept to submit your email to one of the characters, you’ll be able to converse with them to learn more about the game. As for the full whitepaper, it can be found as a terminal at the end of the neon-colored area, showing all the info you’d expect to see. Those who’d like to check out this creative little idea released earlier this week can do so through the tweet down below.

While this experience may be 2D, the game itself is vastly different, as it’s actually a 3D open-world third-person battle royale set in a cyberpunk setting. There will be three game modes: Battle Royale, Casual Royale and Arena Royale. The first and last one have an entry fee, while Casual Royale will be free to play, but have no item rewards for the winners included, except for tickets earned after playing a certain amount of times in a day. These tickets can be used to play in a Battle Royale event where an entry fee has to be paid.

The blockchain title will feature free-to-own universes, meaning that players will be able to become a Delysium Multiverse Operator (DMO) by owning a Delysium Multiverse License NFT, minted for free. As a DMO, players can create their own universe, allowing players to make their own game experience and on-chain incentives, with all universes being a part of the Delysium Multiverse.

According to the roadmap, an alpha test is scheduled for October this year, with a beta test planned for the end of 2023.
