Ledger has announced the Ledger Stax, a new safety hardware device developed by Tony Fadell. It is based on safe architecture and has a one-of-a-kind shape that allows for unparalleled accessibility and engagement.

Details of the Ledger Stax

The new device has an E Ink2 display that extends around the spine and covers the front. It offers a touch interface that lets users quickly see all transaction details. Users may watch their favourite artwork on the Ledger Stax screen even when the gadget is turned off.

In partnership with Layer, Tony Fadell created Ledger Stax as a credit card-sized device with embedded magnets, making it simply stacking for people who possess numerous devices. One charge might keep the device going for a month or more.

Ledger Stax connects to the full Ledger LiveTM app on the PC via secure USB-C and the Ledger Live Mobile app through Bluetooth®3. Moreover, it will use Ledger Connect, a planned crypto wallet extension, to access Web3 applications, swaps, staking, and on-ramp services. It also has wireless Qi charging capabilities.

Following the bankruptcy of FTX, Ledger and Trezor claimed an increase in sales as more crypto users sought self-custody of their funds. During the week of the FTX crash, Ledger had its best sales week ever.

Pascal Gaulthier, the company's CEO, aims to utilize Fadell's expertise in producing mass-market products to convince more people to adopt Ledger's hardware wallet.

Users may use Ledger Stax to handle their NFT collection and over 500 coins and assets. Further, every Ledger Stax comes with the [Ledger] Infinity Pass, a free NFT with unspecified future advantages. By the end of March 2023, you'll be able to purchase Ledger Stax for $279. It is now available for pre-order on Ledger.com. BestBuy and other retailers in the US will start selling it soon.
