Starbots set to release Magic feature
The new feature of this play-to-earn robot strategy game will add a bonus to the stats of various body parts and gadgets.

The team behind Starbots has announced that they plan to release a new feature called Magic soon.
Starbots is a play-to-earn NFT strategy game in which players create their own battle robots to not only fight against other players but also complete missions on a range of different planets. The robots, consisting of a couple of different body parts, can be upgraded but also customized using various different weapons, while needing to be repaired from time to time. Throughout the 2D title, players get to earn NFTs and $GEAR, a Solana-based in-game reward token. There’s also a token called $BOT, which is used for governance voting, upgrading body parts and more. The game’s made by Starbots Studio and is backed by numerous different partners and investors, including OKEx Blockdream Ventures, Kyros Ventures, Kyber Network, Solar Eco Fund, TomoChain, TK Ventures, Impossible Finance, Good Games Guild and more.
The new Magic feature is being introduced in an effort to further balance the game while opening room for more tactical gameplay, potentially shaping up a new meta. Magic provides an additional bonus to existing stats for every body part and gadget. The amount certain stats will get an increase depends on the rarity of the part in question.
