Starbots Version 2.0.0 has been released
The new version of the play-to-earn robot battle game introduces in-game guilds and the first planet of the PvE mode.
After ending Season 5, Starbots Studio has announced the release of version 2.0.0 of their play-to-earn robot battle game.
The new update introduces the first planet of the PvE mode. It’s a lava-filled planet called Plutonet and it consists of a couple of stages players can progress through, taking on a variety of different robotic creatures and earning daily vGEAR rewards. This campaign mode can be found by the clicking the Game Mode button in the main screen, where you can switch between the 2 available modes. As PvE and PvP are separate, playing this new mode does require setting up your robot again. Just like when starting a match in the PvP mode, the battery of the Chassis also gets reduced the same way when commencing a battle in PvE.
An in-game Guild System is now officially available, allowing players to form and manage guilds where they can accept and reject new members as they see fit. The Star Pass Reward has been reduced to almost half for this 6th season.
Aside from the new game version, the developers are also running a Halloween event called the “Tricky Candy Festival” which started today, October 28, and ends on November 18. It includes a prize pool of 50K vGEAR as well as a number of Star Boxes in varying rarities. More info on the event can be found here.
Starbots is currently available in open beta and is playable via web browsers by heading to the game’s official website.
