STEPN developers launch MOOAR NFT Marketplace & Launchpad
The multi-chain marketplace and launchpad has a 0% service fee and allows users to trade NFTs on the Ethereum and Solana network by paying a subscription fee of $29.90 per month.
Find Satoshi Lab, the developers of the popular move-to-earn STEPN app, have announced the launch of the MOOAR NFT marketplace and launchpad.
The multi-chain platform runs on Ethereum and the Solana network while boasting a 0% service fee, opting for a subscription model instead, where users are subject to paying a subscription fee of $29.90/month. Those who are interested can first opt for a one month free membership which should be claimable. There are also no optional royalties, as the team states in the Twitter thread linked down below that they “fully stand behind the narrative that creators form the backbone of the industry, and hence deserve their right to royalties.” The default royalty is set to 2%, but creators can choose to adjust it to as low as 0.5% and as high as 10%.
There are perks for STEPN users who meet certain requirements. The eligibility criteria include Genesis Sneaker owners, users who have covered a distance of more than 1500 KM and users who have shared over 50 activation codes. According to one of the tweets in a Twitter thread from the STEPN profile, the benefits will be “calculated based on the eligibility criteria you meet.” One of the first perks available right off the bat includes a free membership, with more benefits to be given as time goes on.
Aside from the marketplace, the PFP NFT launchpad is also available which acts as a “community driven hackathon” where the ecosystem’s core token, $GMT, is used for voting. Those who are interested in trying their hand at getting an NFT project up and running can apply for Season 1 of the launchpad using the link found in the Twitter thread down below.
