22Cans Shares Details on Legacy Land Deeds & Legacy Keys Ahead of Launch
Developer 22Cans has shared info on Land Deeds and Legacy Keys, revealing that Deed owners will gain exclusive early access to the blockchain business sim on Tuesday, October 24th, allowing holders to bridge their Deeds over to GalaChain in order to set up their Guilds before the game’s launch.

Developer 22Cans has revealed new info on Land Deeds and Legacy Keys ahead of the launch of their blockchain business sim, Legacy, on GalaChain.
What Are Legacy Land Deeds?
Legacy Land Deeds are plots that let you own and run a business. By owning a Deed, you can set up a Guild in which team members can split rewards. It’s also what gives access to the game itself, which means there’s no need for a Deed holder to use a Legacy Key like other non-Deed owners to play this Web3 title. Instead, you, the team leader, will be the one giving out Legacy Keys in order to grow your team. The amount of Legacy Keys you have depends on the rarity of the Deed you own. The studio plans on introducing an update later on to allow players to buy more Legacy Keys in order to upgrade their Guilds, which in turn should help in achieving higher rewards by having more members on board. Rarity of a Deed could also bring differing “reward advantages,” with more info set to be revealed in the future.
If you’re a Deed owner, then you’ll be given exclusive early access to the game ahead of the October 26th launch, meaning you’ll be able to take part in an early owner access period starting on Tuesday, October 24th. On that day, you will be able to bridge your Deed over to GalaChain, allowing you to set up your Guild before the game launches.
What Are Legacy Keys?
Legacy Keys are items that give players who do not own Deeds access to the game. They are given out by Guild owners who do own Deeds, so in order to play the game without a Land Deed, you’ll need to become a part of a Guild that has an available Legacy Key for you to use. That way, you’ll be a part of a team consisting of likeminded members you’ll share rewards with. This reward split will depend on the Deed holder, and so will other decisions that can have an effect on their Guild.
