4X Sci-Fi Blockchain MMO Echoes of Empires is Now Live in Closed Alpha

Echoes of Empire, a new sci-fi 4X MMO strategy game, is now available for playtesting on Gala Games. The alpha playtest is open to anyone holding a Celestial Claim NFT and will run for a week until December 22nd.
Developed by Ion Games, Echoes of Empire is a sci-fi blockchain title where players can build and expand their galactic empires. They will first begin their journey from a small base station called Home Base, where they gather resources to craft and upgrade their fleets before recruiting Heroes and Knights to control major sectors of the galaxy.
In this alpha, players will get to build ships, upgrade their bases, mine resources, and explore other Star Clusters. There are five Clusters in the game: House Space, Aurora's Edge, The Pale, Ember's Grace, and The Core. Currently, all home bases will spawn in House Space. But in the future, players will have the option to relocate their bases.
There will be a few introductory quests to complete before getting started with the MMO. These quests will drop the necessary resources for ship production, base construction, and resource gathering. Each day, there will be a number of quests for players to complete, allowing them to explore the PvE aspects of this game.
To join the playtest, you must own at least 1x Celestial Claim NFT in your Gala Games wallet. It works like a land NFT, allowing owners to build mines to harvest resources or lease them to other players. These functionalities are not available yet. For now, a Celestial Claim only acts as a ticket to the closed alpha.
