AICTE and Meta Unveil the "Creators of Metaverse" Program
In a strategic move to prepare the youth of India for the future of Web3 technology, the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has joined forces with Meta to introduce the innovative "Creators of Metaverse" program. The primary objective of this pioneering initiative is to equip college students and faculty members across the country with knowledge and technical expertise in Augmented Reality (AR).
Through the use of Meta Spark, a user-friendly platform that facilitates the creation of virtual experiences, the program aims to reach 100,000 college students and 20,000 faculty members, empowering them with valuable skills in AR technology.
Subheading 2: A Gamified Learning Experience in Augmented Reality
The "Creators of Metaverse" program is thoughtfully designed as a gamified journey spanning over 10 days, presenting participants with a comprehensive 20-hour curriculum. The curriculum encompasses a variety of learning components, including instructor-led sessions, group mentoring, and hands-on project-based assignments. By immersing students and faculty in dynamic and interactive learning experiences, the program seeks to foster their proficiency in AR technology.
A major highlight of the initiative lies in providing students with an opportunity to work with industry-grade AR software tools and resources. As they engage in various projects, participants not only build portfolios but also expand their professional networks, gaining valuable insights into the vast potential of virtual workplace experiences. The "Creators of Metaverse" program also offers dedicated support to students, helping them pursue Meta certification as Meta Spark creators. With guidance from experienced mentors, they are prepared for the Meta Spark Creator Exam, further solidifying their expertise in the rapidly-evolving field of AR technology.
