Alchemy: Battle for Ankhos Launches $SPIRIT Token and Reveals Tokenomics Details
$SPIRIT, the core token of Alchemy: Battle for Ankhios, is now live with a total supply of 100 million, 80% of which has been allocated to the P2E pool, according to the revealed tokenomics details.
The developers of Alchemy: Battle for Ankhos, a turn-based and idle fantasy Discord RPG, have officially launched the game’s core token, $SPIRIT, while sharing tokenomics details that provide information on supply and how it is allocated.
What Is the $SPIRIT Token?
The $SPIRIT token is an earnable currency in the upcoming Clash of Clans-inspired idle staking game mode, Cosmic War, which requires owning an NFT from the Gods of Alchemy NFT collection in order to play. With this token, players can upgrade their territories and Gods while reviving Descendants, buying in-game items and equipment, and more. It can be sold on the Solana network and it can also be bought with Gold. Gold can be earned by completing quests in a free-to-play game mode which acts as a turn-based RPG currently available in alpha.
Tokenomics
The total supply of this new token is 100 million. Its allocation across 4 main sections: Play to Earn, Treasury, Team Allocation, and Airdrops/Partnerships/LP.
- Play to Earn: 80,000,000 (80%) - Locked & distributed over 8 years
- Treasury: 10,000,000 (10%) - Community Managed
- Team Allocation: 5,000,000 (5%) - Locked & vested over 3 years
- Airdrops/Partnerships/LP: 5,000,000 (5%) - Airdropped at TGE
For the first section, Play to Earn, emissions are set at 0.25% per week at launch. This means an emission of 200k tokens per week, though the total amount emitted is set to differ from one week to the next depending how many tokens there are in the P2E pool.
The team lists presale buyers, minters, partners, select gaming communities and the game’s active Discord community as those who qualify for airdrops. When it comes to LP, it has been seeded with 1.6 million $SPIRIT tokens and 675 $SOL, with a launch price of $0.025. At the time of writing, the price is around $0.0336 following a peak of $0.0574.
According to the details found in the FAQ of the game’s official Discord server, proceeds from Cosmic War and Battle of Ankhios will be distributed into 3 different wallets, with 80% going to the P2E pool, 10% to treasury, and 10% to the game devs.
