Alien Worlds launches Galactic Hubs Grant Program
Interested applicants can apply for one of 3 available types of grants across 5 different categories for a chance to get funded in TLM on a project beneficial to the Alien Worlds social metaverse.
Alien Worlds has announced a grant program called Galactic Hubs, where the goal is to offer grants to applicants who can make innovative projects that strengthen the Alien Worlds ecosystem.
There are three types of grants: Accelerated Grants (5K $TLM or less), Development Grants (5K – 100K $TLM) and Pioneer Grants (over 100K $TLM). The application period for Accelerated Grants lasts until August 16, while the latter two are open till June 20.
These are the five categories indviduals, teams and organizations can apply for: Technical Infrastructure, eSports & Gaming, Art & Collectibles, Storytelling and Real-world applications/solutions. The maximum number of Accelerated Grants being given out is 2 per category. For Development Grants it’s also 2, with the exception of eSports & Gaming and Real-world applications/solutions categories which allow 1 for each, while only 1 Pioneer Grant will be given out per category.
Accelerated Grants are described as being “for community contributions such as tutorials, translations, and marketing initiatives,” while Development Grants are aimed at “more advanced marketing initiatives and software development,” and Pioneer Grants are reserved “for complex solutions and applications requiring a high level of expertise and resource allocation.”
