AlterVerse Announces Shoppable Billboards for Sky City in Partnership With Scuti
News

AlterVerse, an Enjin-based gaming metaverse will be getting shoppable billboards in the Sky City realm, in partnership with the Scuti Store, a gaming marketplace that allows gamers to earn free SCUTI used for redeeming in-game items and real-life products.

This new partnership means that the Scuti Store is being integrated into Sky City in the form of interactive objects or billboards. Clicking on one of them will bring up the Scuti kiosk, through which you can browse your way through a catalog of real-life products that are available in the Scuti Marketplace, allowing you to order various different items while being in the metaverse.

The CEO of AlterVerse, Scot Kinney, said the following in the official announcement article:

“Scuti is an integral partner for AlterVerse to gain even more momentum in building a global shopping marketplace within the Metaverse economy.”

Every purchase is rewarded with SCUTI, which players will be able to exchange into AlterVerse ACE tokens. In the Medium post, AlterVerse has revealed that they have a varied list of vendor partners covering a range of different categories, including but not limited to gaming, apparel, food, fashion, fitness and more. By purchasing products using Scuti inside AlterVerse, players can get back up to 5% of the retail price on each order in the form of SCUTI rewards.

Marc Fonzetti, the CRO & CMO of Scuti, added:

“Forward-thinking brands are creating their Metaverse strategies and experiences now. Scuti is excited to partner with AlterVerse to evolve the Web3 shopping experience to allow every player to purchase physical products directly from their experience. This collaboration will allow players to shop from Sky City vendors and earn Scuti$ rewards they can spend in the AlterVerse experience to fuel their digital life. Brands are more important to the Metaverse than ever before.”

The team also revealed that both Scuti and AlterVerse are forming a partnership with GameMaster, which is described as “the ultimate gaming competition” that is being hosted by American actor Wil Wheaton, with the goal of the collaboration being to “create an exciting experience around the upcoming TV show” that is set to premiere in the spring of this year.

Sky City launched in closed alpha last month, with a closed beta version planned for Q1 this year.
