AlterVerse Completes its Private Funding Round
Polygon Ventures and Binance Labs invested in AlterVerse. The blockchain gaming studio plans to release a demo of upcoming metaverse game Sky City. Ankr, EnjinStarter and Baselayer Capital also contributed to the fundraising effort.
The funds from the forthcoming private round will be utilized to broaden and speed up the development of the road plan. The funds collected will be used toward expanding the existing infrastructure and ecosystem of the AlterVerse ecosystem.
SkyCity, AlterVerse's social hub, has now gotten playable demo access and pre-alpha access. Its road plan includes the first-person shooter game Outpost, the hard-core survival game Rekt, and the decentralized metaverse platform City Servers, in addition to the initially released SkyCity.
Earlier this year, AlterVerse, whose native currency is $ACE, completed the incubation programs at Altcoin Buzz Labs and Binance Labs Season 4.
Aim of AlterVerse
AlterVerse's development aims to provide a unified gaming experience in which players can freely navigate between games, planets, and communities. Unreal Engine 5, Epic Games' cutting-edge gaming tech, will be used to create the game as well.
The Sky City server is the first of a series of servers that will eventually include the City Servers, Outpost, and Rekt. The native token $ACE will be utilized for in-game transactions, cash, and player incentives in AlterVerse's linked game.
In a Medium article, the AlterVerse firm said that the token, together with NFT skins and metaverse land, would be released on the BNB Chain. The blockchains with which the firm hopes to work with are BNB Smart Chain, Polygon, and Effinity for an NFT marketplace to enhance its gaming platform.
