Apeiron Battle Demo Season 2: Apostle Awakening Is Now Live
Apeiron Battle Demo Season 2: Apostle Awakening is now officially live, allowing players to progress through various different dungeons in the free demo using a team of Apostles that currently come in 6 different classes while enjoying gameplay that combines elements of god games with card-based combat.
The developers of Apeiron, described as the world’s “first NFT-based play-and-earn god game,” have officially launched Battle Demo Season 2: Apostle Awakening.
To commemorate the launch of the S2 battle demo that is available for free for download on Windows and Mac, the team has published a guide containing various tips and tricks for beginners to use to better get up to speed with the game, which combines a card-based action combat system with sim gameplay inspired by god games such as Black & White and Populous.
Players get to explore various dungeons by forming an adventuring party of Dood Apostles, which currently come in 6 different classes: Warrior, Hunter, Rogue, Priest, Guardian, and Mage. An additional 6 types will be added in the future.
There are also 6 different dungeon rooms, and the team suggests going through all of them: battles, elite battles, boss, shops, campfires, and events. You will get to choose which room to go through next as you explore the dungeon, with battle rooms of course being the most common ones. Elite battles are essentially tougher versions of the regular ones, but that also means that the rewards you can get are rarer as well. Boss rooms will have to be taken on sooner or later, while shops allow you to use the gems you’ve earned to purchase various different potions, Apostles and Artifacts, which are upgradable items that can come with differing effects. Campfires serve to heal your team, but to also give them a free level up, while event rooms are the most unpredictable ones from which you may or may not benefit from.
