Aradena Announces Beta Showdown 3 Tournament Is Starting August 25th
The Beta Showdown 3 tournament for Aradena: Battlegrounds starts on August 25th at 12 PM UTC and ends on August 28th at 12 PM UTC, bringing with a new update that adds in more than 20 cards alongside other welcome additions. It is free to enter and includes reward milestones, alongside prizes for the top 8 players on the leaderboard.

The developers of Aradena: Battlegrounds, a free-to-play blockchain tactical TCG featuring gameplay on a hex-based 3D battlefield, have announced the next tournament, Beta Showdown 3, is scheduled to start this weekend on Friday, August 25th at 12 PM UTC, ending on Monday, August 28th, at 12 PM UTC.
With the new tournament, which is free for anyone to enter, players will get to experience a host of new updates and fixes that aim to enhance the experience. These new additions include more than 20 new cards, overhauled VFX, new mechanics, and the option to create your very own custom decks.
The tournament will use a points system as in previous events, with a win awarding 3 points, a concession or loss 1 point, while a disconnection or concession before Turn 4 will lead to getting 0 points. There are prizes up for grabs for the top 8 players on the leaderboard, but there are reward milestones too, meaning you could earn some goodies by reaching a certain number of points during the event. If you do win the tournament though, you’ll have the opportunity to design your very own card or cosmetic with the game dev team, receiving a gold copy of it once it gets released. Next to that, the winner is rewarded with 10 Loot Chests, 10 Genesis card packs, 1 Might Warrior, and 1 Heroic Cosmetic Set consisting of matching Golem Skin, Ornament, and Card Back.
As for the prize milestones, there are rewards for playing one game, as well as for achieving 10 points, 20 points, and 50 points. You’ll get a Silver Card Pack at 20 points, while having at least 50 points is rewarded with a Genesis Card Pack as well as a Silver one, though it’s important to note that the Genesis ones are given on a first come first serve basis due to a supply of 300 being distributed for the event.
Interested players can register on the game’s official website and download the game through the Elixir Launcher.
