Arcus Launches Closed Beta Test with $50K Prize Pool
News

The developers of Arcus, a skill-based mobile game, have announced the start of a closed beta test featuring a $50k prize pool consisting of NFTs, $ARCUS, and $CRYSAL.

The event started on August 7th and will end on October 29th. During that period, the beta will be open every day from 10 AM UTC to 3 PM UTC, with players able to join without needing to own an NFT, as the game makes it possible to use in-game NFT Assets found in the in-game inventory, though if you do own an NFT on the BNB Smart Chain, you’ll be able to earn additional points when completing various tasks.

There are various different things you can do in an effort to earn a share of the prize pool. For starters, players who create an account should be eligible for 200 $CRYSTAL tokens, while following the game’s social media accounts nets you 300 of the same tokens, and playing at least 3 games awards you with 500 $CRYSTAL tokens. These tasks are part of one of the missions available for players to complete throughout this closed beta testing period. Another mission available is called “Gamified Discord” but perhaps the one that is purely focused on skill-based gameplay is the Leaderboard Tournament, where you compete against other players in first-person shooting in an effort to make it to the top of the leaderboard, with the top 100 players set to be eligible for varying amounts of $ARCUS tokens, a token that will be distributed to eligible participants 45 days after it gets officially listed. Players ranked from 101st to 300th will get 1 Weapon NFT each, while everyone else who participated will be given 500 $CRYSTAL tokens.

Detailed information on this closed beta test can be found in the link placed in the tweet down below. The game seems to currently be available for download on Android devices.
