Aurory set to release SyncSpace feature

The Aurory team has announced that they plan to release SyncSpace together with patch 0.2.7 of the Solana-based play-and-earn JRPG.

Ahead of the launch, the developers have released a blog post explaining how this new feature will work. Essentially it’s an inventory system that combines off-chain and on-chain interaction in an effort to lower the number of “blockchain interactions and transaction approvals when interacting with our ecosystem.”

As such, the system is split into “the Solana program and our program’s backend.” The items a user has can be in two different states: Synced or DeSynced. Synced assets are the ones that are deposited into the inventory, while DeSynced assets represent anything stored in an external wallet, meaning they’re not Synced, or not deposited, into this inventory. Syncing requires only one transaction, after which users can go about buying items while paying fees with the $AURY they have Synced.

When a user withdraws or deposits something onto SyncSpace for the first time, they have to pay a one-time fee of 0.07 $SOL. While players can have an infinite number of off-chain items, the number of on-chain assets that can be deposited is limited to 248.

The isometric title is made in Unity and can be played directly from a browser on the game’s official website. Some of the investors for this blockchain gaming project include Animoca Brands and Alameda Research.
