Aurory Shares Info on New Season Structure & Launch Time of Village Update
The new season structure for Aurory tactics will make seasons last longer, with plans to introduce a new rank decay mechanism in order for players to stay active and keep their leaderboard spot during the lengthier seasons that are set to last around 3 months.

The Aurory team has shared some exciting news with its fans regarding changes to its seasonal structure and the upcoming Village Update. The team announced its plans for a new season structure after the end of Tactics Alpha Season 3.
The new seasonal structure will feature longer seasons lasting approximately 3 months in order to allow the developers enough time to create new content for each season. According to the official tweet revealing the info, this new content includes “new and unique” rewards such as Nefties. The new season will also coincide with new Tactics builds to ensure a fresh feel to the start of every new season of the turn-based JRPG.
To incentivize players to remain active and maintain their leaderboard position, the team will be working on a new rank decay mechanism. The team is also considering other elements such as recurrent competitive events at the end of every season and early access to new builds for select Aurorian holders.
Additionally, Aurory teased a new patch (0.2.9) for Tactics, with the update releasing on March 28th and bringing with it improved matchmaking, a new cinematic camera tool and more. The team is fully focused on getting The Village: Prologue to Adventures out as soon as they can. Due to some necessary adjustments, the team is now looking at a late April early access release, which is a few weeks later than originally planned as the initial goal was to get it released by the end of Q1.
Earlier this month, the Solana-based title got a new Neftie rarity system and Incubator 2.0.
