Avalon Gets New Halloween Updates, Including 3 New NFTs
Avalon has been transformed into a haunted island with new Halloween updates that introduce new decorations, a new store with limited seasonal items, 3 new NFTs that can unlock exclusive gameplay areas, and more.

In tune with the Halloween season, developer Danu Games has released some new seasonal updates to the beta version of their blockchain fantasy MMO, Avalon.
What’s New in Avalon?
The studio has pushed out a couple of spooky updates to bring the spirit of Halloween to the game’s island, accessible to players who own early stage gameplay passes.
Namely, villages have been redecorated to include animated pumpkin monsters, lanterns, and cave vampires, while defeating bosses in main raids 1 and 2 is now rewarded with Conjured Candies. What can you do with these? Well, you can use them to get some “very limited” seasonal items, which can be found over at the Shop of Horrors, a new store that can be found at the Inquisitors’ Palace.
If you head to the graveyard, you will now find it swarming with skeletons “possessed by an autumn monster,” while the game login menu has been adjusted to appropriately welcome you to the season by adding creepy decorations.

New NFTs
The developers have introduced 3 new NFTs: The Great Sword Avalanche, Kraken Necklace, and Headless Horseman Helmet. These new assets are said to unlock exclusive gameplay areas, bringing players the opportunity to go some fun new adventures.
The Great Sword Avalanche can be claimed at the PvP merchant and is what you need to successfully destroy the Ice Knights that are protecting the “corridors of the mysterious ice cave.”
The Kraken Necklace will let you jump into the ocean and explore the Underwater Kraken Temple ruins. You can earn the accessory by winning the Kraken Island battle.

Last but not least, the Headless Horseman Helmet allows you entrance to the Graveyard Crypt. This headgear can be found at the new Shop of Horrors.
In the update post, the team has clarified that each active account “can claim only one of each NFT item type” in order to give everyone a fair chance of getting them, with the exclusion of accounts with 7-day passes. The NFTs will be claimable through a support ticket via the official Discord server from November 15th, but should you choose to put your NFT up for sale on the marketplace, you will no longer have it in your in-game inventory.
