Axie Infinity Announces Origins Season 6 Mystic Era
Axie Infinity Origins Season 6 Mystic Era is now live, giving players a chance of competing for a share of the 13,215 $AXS prize pool for only 7 days while participating in the Trick or Treat Contest.
The Axie Infinity team, Sky Mavis, has announced the start of Origins Season 6 Mystic Era with a prize pool of 13,215 $AXS tokens.
Season 6 Mystic Era Details
Unlike previous eras, which lasted 14 days, the Mystic era will be only 7 days long, making competition even more intense than it was in the Rare and Epic eras.
By ranking in the top 10k on the leaderboard, you will be able to earn a share of the 13,215 $AXS prize pool, with the winner walking away with 750 tokens, while second place gets 500 $AXS and 3rd place snags 300 tokens.
If you finish this era at Challenger rank and have collectible axies, you’ll be subject to earning even more $AXS, based on the updated system shown in the image below.
As has so far been the case, next to these rewards, there are also leaderboard bonus rewards for the top 40k players, as seen here:
Trick or Treat Contest
Together with the start of the new era, the developers have introduced the Trick or Treat Contest, during which players can earn “Trick” or “Treat” Chests by winning ranked stamina battles in the first 6 days of November. The player who gets the highest number of chests is said to be eligible to win a special event, and it seems that it’s the Trick Chests in particular that can “help you win the contest with even more prizes in store!” while Treat Chests are geared towards giving you instant rewards.
To have a chance at earning either of the two types of chests, you need to be at minimum Boar rank, where you have 20% chance of getting a Trick Chest, and 13% of earning a Treat Chest.
