Axie Infinity Homeland Alpha Season 3 Begins with New PvP Feature: SpyX
Axie Infinity Homeland Alpha Season 3 is live with a new PvP feature called SpyX, alongside Land Delegation, 5k $AXS in leaderboard rewards, and more.
Axie Infinity Homeland Alpha Season 3 has officially went live today, June 21, with 5k $AXS in leaderboard rewards up for grabs until July 26.
Next to the governance token, players also have a chance of snagging new Seasonal Achievements alongside badges, plot decorations and limited-time avatars.
A significant new addition to this season in comparison to the previous ones is the introduction of a new feature called SpyX.
SpyX is a new PvP feature that allows players to steal Leaderboard Points from each other using stealthy Ragoons. Ragoons are creatures that you can send as spies to your opponents. This is done by locating the desired land plot and clicking a button to spy the plot. Pressing the button will open up a screen where you can choose the kind of spies you would like to send that you deem would be the best disguise for successfully blending in with the opponent’s adventurers. If a player ends up unknowingly using your Ragoon, then the Battle Points the player earns will actually go to you instead due to using your spy.
Of course, this also means that the same can be done to you, making it necessary to be careful with choosing your adventurers. If you think you found a spy, you can pay a fee to investigate that particular character, and should they actually be a spy, you have the option to expel them.
Next to this new feature, Land Delegation is now also live, making it possible for landholders to delegate their plots to other players, allowing new players who don’t own land the opportunity to play and participate in this third season.
