Axie Infinity Integrates Mini Games to Boost Earnings
Axie Infinity is currently working on adding mini-games in order to increase revenue, as the sub-games can offer short-term tournaments with a prize pool.
The new games arrive at a time when SLP prices are low along with a receding reward system.
For instance, Across Lunacia is a mini-game that incorporates Axie characters and mimics their NFT appearance from the original game. The game's link is only available through an exclusive Discord channel, and exclusive access to all Axie owners, with events, a Discord chat, and a reward pool.
Sky Mavis anticipates more development on the Ronin blockchain, including sub-games and events that burn SLP as well. Games may also request an SLP burn in order to use apps or participate in tournaments.
Axis Origin is working on fixes and updates before the global mobile launch and the game will be closed until all upgrades are finished. While Origin has yet to announce earnings, it is expected to launch a model similar to Axie Infinity after Q3 2022.
On the other hand, the Ronin network is still conducting security audits to ensure the Ronin-ETH bridge's safety. To ensure that the new smart contracts will not be easily attacked, the Ronin team has hired Certik, which is considered one of the best smart contract auditors. The Ronin-ETH bridge will reopen in June if the audit is successful.
