Axie Infinity Launches Origins Season 4 Epic Era with Exciting Updates and Prizes
The season introduces gameplay revamps and improvements, and players will share a prize pool of 39,000 $AXS.
Origins Season 4 Epic Era Continues the Campaign
Following the Rare Era, Axie Infinity has launched the second aspect of its campaign with the Origins Season 4 Epic Era. Players who participated in the Rare Era had the opportunity to earn significant prizes, and the leaderboard competition was intense. The "keep mechanic" excited battles as teams showcased their strategies and outplayed opponents. Notable team compositions, such as Topaz, Sustain, Jinx, Aggro Beasts, Bleed Beasts, and Poison, emerged as leaderboards' best performers.
Origins Season 4 Epic Era features a substantial prize pool of 39,000 $AXS, accounting for 35% of the overall compensation. The top 20,000 users will share this prize pool, and participants will also receive other in-game assets like Runes, Charms, and digital items. With up to one million contestants, many players will have the opportunity to receive various rewards.
Updates and Bug Fixes
The Epic Era introduces several revamps and fixes based on player feedback. Some notable changes include reducing the bonus stat of the Last Stand Mech Rune from 50% to 40% and adjusting the penalty for Neutral Stamps like the Moon, Sun, and Rocket Stamps from 10% to 15%. The development team is also improving the testing for Cards, Runes, Charms, and Tooltips to enhance the learning experience for new and existing players.
Axie Infinity is committed to ensuring fair gameplay for all participants. In this regard, the game has implemented measures to balance the advantages and disadvantages of going first or second. The first player sets the tone for the battle but may face limitations in card control, while the second player has more options with their free keep and the advantage of reaching 3 energy first.
