Axie Infinity Releases Development Update
Axie Developers share numerous achievements made in the first few days of June.
The game developers of Axie Infinity have released an update containing significant achievements. These achievements include the introduction of Origins on iOS, the launch of the Mavis Market on Ronin, and the entry of a flurry of new features to the Axie universe.
Axie Infinity launched the iOS version across LATAM and Asia. In this version, players can use their own NFT axis to play Origins or battle with an upgradeable starter axis in both Adventure or Arena modes. Axie’s launch is the first time Apple permits third-party apps on the devices to use externally-purchased NFTs. Simultaneously, Axie Infinity launched Mavis Market, its first generalized NFT marketplace. Developers can use the marketplace to distribute their NFT collections on Ronin using the primary currency, RON.
They can use the Katana DEX platform to make purchases using swap currencies like AXS, WETH, and USDC for RON. The presence of the marketplace will encourage infinite gaming experiences on Ronin. Two NFTs were listed to inaugurate the marketplace namely: Axie DoLL Sidekicks and AxieChat Premium 2023 NFTs.
Axie Launches Axie Avatar Forge Aims to Improve Digital Identification
The gaming platform launched Axie Avatar Forge, an experience that permits users to forge unique and customizable avatars using axies. Considering the importance of Avatars as digital identities, it would help the team distribute Axie PFPs more easily. The team also merged Axie lore with Origins gameplay to introduce Atia’s Blessing on App.axie. This feature will increase the Mooonshard percentage players receive after winning Ranked Battles in Origins.
Axie has increased the Arena Mode animations to 1.35x speed during Origins Season 4. The team has earlier perfected their Blitz Mode, a game session that offers faster gameplay. Other events in June include the first-ever Filipino Fiesta: Fortune Chest contest, and Axie Infinity: Homeland Alpha Season 2. Players can now send spy on another landowner’s plot.
