Axie Infinity's Raylights Chapter 2: A Deep Dive into the Garden of Friends Update
Axie Infinity's Raylights Chapter 2, Garden of Friends, introduces intriguing new elements like the Biocharge system, non-landowner gameplay, land management options, in-app purchases, and new Genesis exclusive plants.

The Raylights Chapter 2: Garden of Friends update brings with it the innovative concept of Biocharge. Axie Infinity players can now accumulate Biocharge by feeding minerals to their Axies, each of which has a different affinity towards various minerals. This familiarity affects the amount of Biocharge players can amass. Moreover, players also stand a chance to achieve critical success when feeding their Axies.
Biocharge isn't just a token of achievement, it holds practical applications within the game. It can be used to speed up plant growth, significantly reducing the wait time for players. Additionally, sleeping Axies can be awakened using Biocharge, injecting more life into the gameplay.
Non-Landowner Gameplay and Multi-land Management
The Garden of Friends update heralds a new era of inclusivity in Axie Infinity by allowing non-landowners to partake in the fun on Genesis Lands. At the outset, each Land accommodates 10 player slots, one of which is reserved for the landowner, enhancing the collaborative spirit of the game.
In terms of land management, players are now equipped to manage up to five active lands simultaneously, beginning with a single active land slot. Players can gradually unlock additional slots by accumulating Achievement Points or purchasing Gems, enabling them to expand their dominion within the game.
Landowners now have more authority over their lands, including the power to remove players from their land. Conversely, players can leave a land voluntarily to make way for others, promoting a fluid and dynamic gaming environment.
In-App Purchases and New Genesis Exclusive Plants
In a bid to enrich the gameplay experience, Raylights Chapter 2 introduces the concept of in-app purchases. Players can now buy Gems using RON within the game. What's more, the landowner earns a cut from the RON spent by players on their land, incentivizing land ownership.
The utility of Gems extends beyond their monetary value. Gems can be transformed into Biocharge, used to unlock more active land slots or purchase additional player slots for the land (available only to the landowner).
In addition to these exciting features, the update also presents Genesine - a new Genesis-exclusive mineral, and five new Genesis-exclusive plants. These additions infuse new elements of strategy and exploration into the game, ensuring a riveting experience for both seasoned players and newcomers.
