Leading interactive animation studio, Baobab Studios has taken its storytelling prowess to Momoguro, a digital collectibles game built on Web3 technology. The animation studio is working on this game in collaboration with Web3 technology firm, ImmutableX. Immutable X is popular for providing immersive blockchain games for mainstream consumers. Some of the ImmutableX games include Illuvium, Gods Unchained, Kiraverse, Guilds of Guide, and 22 other games. The Momoguro project was co-designed by Nico Casavecchia and Martin Allais.
Maureen Fan, the CEO of Baobab Studios explained that Momoguro is one of the company’s missions to inspire the world, expose a sense of wonder and prioritize people through storytelling.
Fan said:
“Web3 is really exciting for us because it is another medium for us and really aligned with our mission statement, which is to inspire the world to dream, bring out your sense of wonder, and make you matter. And that last sentence, which makes you matter, is what I feel differentiates us from other animation studios out there because we want you the audience to be part of the experience, whether it’s a character or if it just means you’re the community”
