Battle Drones is a play-to-earn PC gaming ecosystem that will feature NFT characters which will be customizable using the $BATTLE governance token, the same token that will be used for in-game asset trading. The FlyBucks ($FLB) reward token will also be usable for NFT customization and will be earnable across all game modes: solo PvE, multiplayer PvP and co-op.
The Red Rock Resistance game demo includes the PvE mode called Onslaught, in which players play as a drone taking down waves of diverse enemy drones while using a variety of different weapons. The co-op mode will be a 2-player version of Onslaught while PvP will mark the start of play-to-earn gameplay, earning more $FLB the higher the matchmaking rating. The game is played from a 3D top-down perspective and runs on the Solana network.
Some of the partners and investors for Battle Drones include Alameda Research, Chainlink Labs, Solar Eco Fund and more.
