BinaryX Launches City Builder Pancake Mayor on PancakeSwap Gaming Marketplace
Pancake Mayor, a city-building sim made by BinaryX, is now officially a part of PancakeSwap’s new gaming marketplace, with PancakeSquad and Bunnies NFT holders able to use their assets as in-game avatars.
What Is Pancake Mayor?
Pancake Mayor is a Web3 2D city building simulation and the second game to become a part of PancakeSwap’s first gaming marketplace.
Made by the BinaryX team, this new blockchain title challenges players with constructing their own upgradable cities across 250 increasingly-difficult levels while enjoying mini-games and participating in special events. Players use Mayor Cash to build structures. Mayor Cash is an in-game currency earned through a variety of different activities that include various challenges and events. It can also be bought using the $CAKE token, with a potential chance of earning token rewards that include $CAKE and other tokens.
Each level tasks players with making 5 buildings, all of which can be upgraded to about 4-5 times. Once they are all fully upgraded, you can progress on to the next level, with new levels said to unlock “new gameplay and features” while providing players with more rewards.
If you own PancakeSquad and Bunnies NFTs, you now have additional utility, as the game lets you use your assets as in-game avatars. While that may be the only way you can use these NFTs in the game at the time of writing, that is set to change in the future, as there are plans to introduce “even more delightful surprises,” according to the announcement.
