Blockchain MMO Avalon Is Live in New Alpha Test Phase 2
Medieval fantasy MMO Avalon has entered Alpha Test Phase 2, which introduces a new area to the game’s island while adding a photo mode, an overhauled property ownership system, surround sound and more.
Developer Danu Games has officially revealed the start of Alpha Test Phase 2 for Avalon, a blockchain fantasy MMO.
What’s New in Avalon Alpha Test Phase 2?
The latest playable phase of the Web3 title brings with it an overhauled land claim system and more time to explore the game’s colorful 3D environments, updated with a new area called “Oceanheim Bluffs” which is established by Blu Ocean Games Guild and can be found on the northern shores of the island. Enjoy the game’s scenery even more now with the addition of a photo mode, allowing you to use a myriad of editing options and camera angles for better screenshots of your journey that is now even more immersive thanks to the inclusion of surround sound and 3D environment sounds.
Through an enhanced property ownership system, players can now purchase properties directly within the game while securing your purchase with an NFT verification system that auto-verifies ownership, giving you access to the property and placing your name tag on the door. Owners can choose to lock the property so no one can access it, as well as assign door codes for friends and guild members if you only want certain people to be allowed inside. Your home now also comes with auto-assigned storage chests, allowing for better organization and easier access to items.
How to Gain Access to Alpha Test Phase 2
On September 23rd, the sale of 7-day and 30-day trial passes will commence on marketplaces such as Rarible, Atomic Hub and Venly. By getting one of these passes and activating them, you have the opportunity to try out the game either for 7 or 30 days from the day you activate the pass.
By getting a 30-day trial pass, you’ll get to kickstart your adventure with 500 in-game Avalon tokens, while gaining full access to upgraded daily raids through which you can earn uncommon NFT badges. Once you get 21 badges, you can convert them into 1 Uncommon Character NFT. With this NFT, you’ll have lifetime access to the game once the beta version of the blockchain title on Unreal Engine 5 goes live. According to the announcement, pass holders can also claim in-game NFT drops, with each pass letting you earn one type of NFT. Resources collected during your 30-day pass will not carry over into the beta version of the game, unless you own property in this alpha state.
If you get a 7-day pass instead, you’ll be given a week’s time to explore Avalon Genesis Island with 500 in-game Avalon tokens, but you won’t be able to claim any NFT rewards. As such, you also don’t have full access to daily raids, and will not be able to save resources and your character’s level.
