Blockchain Monster Hunt unveils info on Breeding feature launching soon
News

The Blockchain Monster Hunt developers have revealed information on the upcoming Breeding feature for their NFT metaverse in a recent Medium post.

Using an ingredient system, players will be able to breed an Artificial Monster by using the required ingredients listed in the recipe. Artificial Monsters are stronger versions of Genesis Monsters and feature a “higher reward factor.”  Every Artificial Monster requires a certain type of Genesis Monster: GS2 for the most powerful Artificial Monsters and GS1 for the rest. If the level of a Genesis Monster is too low then there is a chance that they end up being burned. If they manage to survive, then they will have their level reset back to 1. The minimum level needed for a Genesis Monster to avoid getting burned will be revealed later on.

With breeding also comes Monster Essences, a new feature exclusive to Wild Monsters. There are 10 different types of Essences Wild Monsters can generate, based on the game’s Monster Element system. It’s possible for a Wild Monster to have more than 1 type of Essence depending on the species and genus-group in question, generating Essence Points based on the species and monster level, with Wild Monsters of higher level being able to generate more Essence Points. The number of Wild Monsters, nor the type needed to add to the recipe for creating an Artificial Monster will not be displayed, but players can put up to a total of 5 Wild Monsters, all of which will get burned in the breeding process.

Commencing the breeding process with a low amount of Essence Points lowers the chances of successfully creating an Artificial Monster, and if the process fails, monsters will still end up getting burned.

Blockchain Monster Hunt is a multi-chain metaverse available on the BNB Chain, Ethereum network, Polygon and Moonbeam. An update was released earlier this month which introduced non-NFT items.
