ChainArena Epoch 2 Is Soft Launching on November 23rd With New Features
ChainArena Epoch 2 is set to soft launch on Thursday, November 23rd, with the phase planned to last for 2 weeks, after which the new season will officially launch with leaderboard rewards.

The ChainGuardians team has announced that Epoch 2, or Season 2 of ChainArena, a blockchain idle RPG, is set to soft launch on Thursday, November 23rd with a host of new features for players to enjoy.
Why Soft Launch?
The soft launch phase is intended to give players a chance to try out the new features while the developers continue to fix some minor bugs. There will be a public list of known bugs on the day this phase starts, and since it’s not the full launch, there won’t be any leaderboard rewards to compete for. Players will get a chance to get acquainted with the new features for 2 weeks, after which the second season will officially begin with $10k worth of prizes up for grabs for the top players. The announcement states that the criteria used for determining the best players includes rank tier, total play time, CGG holding, NFT count, friend referrals, and in-app reviews.
Epoch 2 Features
With the soft launch of the new season come a couple of new features that further aim to provide an enjoyable mobile gaming experience. According to the official post, the new features include improved PvP and guild modes, referral codes, in-app purchases, new “Skull” digital card claims for players who reach rarity A, and the addition of Chain Ryu, an SS pet from OASYX Series 2 Maryu. If you already claimed “Skull” warrior cards at rarity B, you will not be eligible for the new digital cards.
Next to all this, the team has also mentioned that purchases from Epoch 1 will be restored “to maintain hard-earned player progress” while off-chain ApeX holders have been airdropped ApeX digital cards for a 30% power boost.
