ThE Pet burning / Beadol catching event is only available for 24 hours, starting at 7 a.m. CST on Friday, November 25th, and ending on Saturday, November 26th.

After completing a Pet burning event, Champions Ascension prepares for a second, limited-time Pet burn. The team has been gradually providing more information regarding the Pet features in their virtual arena/ world combat game.
The Pets aren't so much burnt as they are utilised as bait to attempt to capture a Beadol.
Basically, Beadols are unique Pets that can only be obtained on certain occasions. Even if any Pets placed in the trap are lost forever, the potential to summon and acquire a Beadol is enough to entice many owners to give up their pets.

How Can You Trap a Beadol
Trapping Beadols necessitates the use of Pets as bait in the trap. Players may add one or more Pets, with each one improving their chances of success by up to 90%. But be cautious! Any pets caught in the trap are permanently burnt! A successful trap captures a Beadol Pet. An ash NFT results from failed traps. Surprisingly, there are various varieties of ash NFTs! The purpose of these ashes has yet to be disclosed to us.
Certain Pets or Pet Traits provide more points and increase the likelihood of a successful trap.

Every hour, the selection of traits benefits changes.
Utility of Pets
This is to note that pets aren't only for burning. They also have gaming usefulness. Plus, pets will give varied Arena advantages; some will even have non-combat value. Beadols, for example, let their owners steal a random bonus from their opponent when they activate a combo finisher. They may also take tickets from NPCs while exploring the main realm.
When the owner's health drops below 15%, the Geckoid Pet lowers cooldowns, and Cramsters tag competitors with a debuff that forces them to receive double damage on subsequent blocks.
There are also some generic Pet perks. If the Champion Family matches the Pet Family, the Champion gains a health and damage bonus.
