Chicken Derby Adds Talents Feature in Latest Upgrade
Talents is an exciting feature that will allow Chickens to display special effects that can influence the progress of a game.
To increase competitiveness, Chicken Derby has added Talents to its Chickens. Previously, during racing games, Chickens won due to their rank or the skills of the players playing them. But now, Talents will bring a new twist to the games.
What Are Talents?
Talents are the new spice for Chicken races. There will be twenty unique Talents, and each chicken will have a special talent. Some will boost chickens, while others will slow down other contestants.
These Talents will be triggered differently during games, giving a unique animation when their effect comes into play. To limit the extent of craziness and abnormal displays during races, the number of Talents Chickens can use will be limited per the length of the race. So, a 100meter race will have two or fewer while 200meter may be just five in total.
Thus, the results of a race will be drastically affected, and no player will be confident of victory until the match is over.
More information On Chicken Derby
This is a racing simulation game that works on the Polygon network. These Chickens are NFTs, and the original 33,333 chickens are already sold out and can only be bought through secondary markets. In order of rarity, they come in 4 heritages – Serama, Sultan, Lakenvelder and Dorkling. In addition, from the usual white feathers to tiger patterns, they have cosmetic traits which make them unique.
They also have a perfection rating, with the original Chickens having more than 90%. However, a rating is not proportional to victory. Chickens have their preferences, abilities and racing styles which are up to players to figure out. The game automatically initiates matches, and only a few are usually free. Anyone can view the matches or view the replay. In the future, Chicken Derby plans to include Breeding, wearables and a hub for social interaction.
