Chicken Derby Introduces Innovative Wearables in Game
Classic light fun game Chicken Derby announces the introduction of wearables. With the addition of wearables to Chicken Derby, your chickens no longer have to race naked. Now in the game, the charming, racing fowls may dress up as anything from witches to pirates and more.
Chicken Derby wearables will not affect the result of the race, but they will make your Chicken appear awesome.
In the last few months, Chicken Derby has distributed wearable items for its Chicken racing game. Players may now finally place these wearable items on their Chickens and race in style.
Wearables for the Chicken Derby are quite scarce. Wearables have not yet been sold at Chicken Derby. Everything in the marketplace and on Chickens was obtained in a competition or contest. Chicken Derby is presently running a contest (until December 12th) that provides prizes to the top finishers, such as land plots and a unique bacon hat.
Chickens have five equipable slots: neck, body, head, eyes, and feet. Wearables will have little impact on race outcomes. These are merely cosmetic objects. Though it's not out of the question that future special events or competitions may be limited to Chickens wearing specified items.
The Chicken Derby team will also implement Seasons before the end of the month. In addition, Chicken Fusion is expected to debut in early 2023. Chicken Fusion allows users to combine two Chickens into one, resulting in a stronger, better Chicken!
What exactly is Chicken Derby?
Chicken Derby is a simulation of chicken racing based on the Polygon network. Each Chicken is a special NFT that may be raced for cash rewards. In order of rarity, chickens are classified into four Heritages, Lakenvelder, Sultan, Dorkling, and Serama.
In addition, each Chicken has several random aesthetic features. From plain white feathers to tiger stripes to robot chickens! Every Chicken also has a unique Talent that may be activated during races. Chickens have Perfection ratings, which influence their racing results.
The game purports to have awarded more than $1 million in rewards so far. Despite utilizing ETH, participants do not have to pay gas fees to cash out or move their NFTs.
