Co:Create Releases New Web3 App on Shopify for Businesses to Integrate Blockchain-Based Loyalty Programs
Co:Create has released a new Web3 app on Shopify, aimed at enabling businesses to easily create blockchain-based loyalty programs.
Co:Create, a Web3 company focused on helping brands implement blockchain-based rewards, has launched a new Web3 app on the leading e-commerce platform, Shopify, giving businesses the opportunity to easily integrate blockchain-based loyalty programs.
Running on the Polygon network under the label Web3 Rewards Tools, the new Web2-friendly app makes it easier for brands to offer NFT rewards to their customers, as well as provide products that require ownership of a specific non-fungible token in order to gain access. By utilizing the new app, brands are able to bring digital ownership to their communities, rewarding their customers and providing NFT owners various benefits in the process.
The CEO and co-founder pf Co:Create, Tara Fung, said the following to CoinDesk:
“We are building an integrated system that helps the most innovative community centric brands grow, reward and engage their community. And that is where the Shopify app lives.”
The new app provides brands with a new way of engaging with their community in a genuine way, with Fung saying that the smaller brands “are the types of brands that are going to want to engage a community more deeply as opposed to utilizing Web3 as just a marketing play.”
More than 4 million businesses use Shopify for e-commerce, making this loyalty-focused app a potentially great introduction to Web3. It’s in fact another new addition to the platform, as earlier this year, a similar app was launched by Try Your Best (TYB), a community engagement platform on the Avalanche blockchain. Hopefully we’ll see more Web3 apps make their way to this and other traditional platforms in order to provide traditional companies with numerous options to work with should they want to jump into Web3.
