Indosuez, the wealth management division of French bank Crédit Agricole, has teamed up with Web3 platform METAV.RS and the digital design agency of Sia Partners, SiaXperience, to launch a Web3 loyalty program called ‘Le Clu3’.

The purpose of this program is to form a “strong community of next-generation clients” for wealth management. This is according to Simon Foucher, co-founder and CEO of METAV.RS, who also went on to say that this program is set to offer various experiences and rewards that “money can’t buy.”

Members of this exclusive program are given soulbound NFTs that make it possible to access secret areas found on the website of the company. Since they’re soulbound, they cannot be traded, thus ensuring that it’s only clients of the bank who actually own the program-related NFT that is minted on the Polygon network. In order to provide a user-friendly experience, clients can have their wallets automatically set up, but they can also choose to use their own ones as well.

The new Web3 loyalty program is part of the wealth management arm’s long-term vision that is set to include future launches of soulbound tokens to be given for those who attend various future events, with the Chief Innovation Officer of Indosuez, Lydie Percier, explaining at a Sia Partners event in Pairs last month that they’re target audience includes wealthy clients, crypto entrepreneurs, and investors.

While negotiations with unnamed luxury brands seem to be ongoing at the time of writing, some of the benefits that Le Clu3 NFT holders will have include VIP treatment that is similar to the one luxury brands offer to their strongest clients.

The program is made possible thanks to METAV.RS, who have previously helped other brands enter the world of Web3, such as LVMH, Renault, and more.
