CryptoSkyland announces Party Planet Launch
The first game of the CryptoSkyland metaverse launches on November 20 at 10 AM UTC. It’s called Party Planet, a blockchain title that will feature a variety of different mini-games, with the first one available on launch being a football game called The Skytopia Cup.
The team behind CryptoSkyland, an interoperable metaverse, has announced the exact time of the launch of Party Planet, the first game that is a part of the Web3 ecosystem.
It has been revealed in a tweet that the blockchain title is scheduled to launch on November 20 at 10 AM UTC. Together with the updated launch details, the developers shared a sneak peek video showing us some of the content we can expect to experience. The footage shows some customizable 3D avatars, of which a total of 10k will exist as NFTs and be given free to the community, according to the official website. 1501 so far exist following the first round of free minting at the time of writing. The rest of the video shows the first mini-game of Party Planet: The Skytopia Cup, with 2 players playing football on a cute stadium from a bird’s eye view, pushing around a huge ball that is bigger than the characters. Once the game actually launches though, players will get to play in 2 teams of 8 players each, attempting to outscore each to win the match, as if a match ends in a draw, it will count as if both teams have lost.
The first event of this title will be a World Cup prediction event, where players earn prediction tickets by playing The Skytopia Cup, and then use those tickets to send in their predictions for the results of all the matches of this year’s FIFA World Cup. Next to predicting results, players can also predict which country will be crowned as the winner of the World Cup. Tickets can also be gained by completing daily tasks. There will be daily challenges to complete as well, giving you the chance to earn from a $FPU prize pool every day. More details can be found in this Medium post here.
