The team behind Cyberpunk City, one of the first functioning metaverses in Unreal Engine 5, has published their monthly recap for July, giving the community an update on the latest done so far, while revealing a document that provides an overview of the blockchain-powered virtual world.
The document, referred to as a OnePager, includes up-to-date information that aims to provide a summary of the project and as such serves as a great source to read from and learn more about this metaverse. It also features a visually-designed Revenue Model that aims to be a user-friendly way of understanding how the economy of this blockchain title works.
In terms of development itself, the team has been allocating a significant amount of time on an event that involves creating a challenging labyrinth environment which the post states is a “very important part of the game.” It is placed on an island that features unique challenges, secrets, and rewards. The labyrinth contains various traps for players to strategically think about dealing with. A teleporter has also been added, making it possible to head straight to the event from the spawn area, while providing a an appropriate cyberpunk feel to the game. In an effort to make this event accessible to everyone, including non-CitizenNFT holders, the team has introduced two default robots acting as playable characters that make it possible for anyone to participate. As such, holders of CitizenNFTs will be able to stand out throughout the event by being able to showcase their collection during the event.
Unique event-themed T-shirts have also been added in order to allow players from various other projects to represent the community they come from.
