Darewise Entertainment Raises $3.5 Million In Presale For 'Life Beyond'
The fundraising is a proof of life to activities in the Metaverse.
Darewise Entertainment, the Brian behind 'Life Beyond', has on Tuesday announced that it finished its token presale, raising $3.5 million. This news is coming as a plus to the metaverse industry amid rumours that the Metaverse no longer exists in terms of economy and capital projects.
Darewise Token Will Be Live Next Year
Life Beyond is an open-world game where players can design new civilizations backed by NFTs running on a token-based economy.
The CEO of Darewise Entertainment said,
“For this round, we are thrilled to welcome meaningful investors who not only believe in our project and values but also come from across the spectrum of gaming and Web3 culture. It's a significant indicator of confidence in building on the Bitcoin ecosystem.”
The Darewise token will go live next year. The token was created by Horizon Labs, the team that built the ApeCoin token, a project that was launched early last year.
Darewise Entertainment was launched in 2018 and aims to create a metaverse ecosystem using Bitcoin Ordinal. The Ordinals protocol is a massive hit that surprised the industry this year. It allows users to customize texts, images, and video games on the Bitcoin blockchain and build BRC-20 tokens. These assets are recorded in a single satoshi, which is the smallest fraction of a Bitcoin.

The company mentioned the several investors that participated, including London Real Ventures, Citizen Capital, Blocore, GameFi Ventures, and Animoca Ventures.
In an interview, Blocore founder, James Lim said, “We invested in Darewise and 'Life Beyond' because we are drawn by its pioneering integration of the Bitcoin ecosystem and an immersive experience that promises to reshape the landscape of digital exploration and connectivity.”
Darewise Entertainment aims to incorporate games and integrate brands and real-world experiences with the token serving as liquidity for the ecosystem.
