Dr. Disrespect's Midnight Society Unveils What Project Moon is All About
After much anticipation, Dr. Disrepect's Midnight Society finally revealed the game genre of Project Moon. Read on to find out more!
What can we expect from Midnight Society's Project Moon?
Midnight Society, a AAA game studio from Dr. Disrespect, dropped more details on what its first blockchain game Project Moon is all about. In a blog post, the company described Project Moon as “the next AAA competitive PvPvE first-person shooter” game. To be exact, it is going to be a vertical extraction shooter (VES) game.
Given that, Midnight Society will release Snapshots, which are playable experiences for the community to try out every 6 weeks. From each Snapshot, the team will gather feedback on game parameters and overall gameplay, before applying them to the next Snapshot. This will help shape the game contents along the way.
On that matter, only Access Pass holders can download these Snapshots. But the best part is, holders are given full rights to stream and make content out of Project Moon's playable game. In fact, they can even share screenshots, assets, and live streams they made from the build.
Meet the Player's Hideout in SnapshotCL1000
Of course, testing out the shooting mechanics is a must in every FPS game. For that reason, Midnight Society will launch Project Moon's first playable build called SnapshotCL1000. In essence, the goal of this build is to gain players' feedback on weapons' recoil, balance, reload, accuracy, and more.
Within the Snapshot, there will be three Shooting Ranges for players to try out. Whenever they see a red button, they can activate a unique target practice to sharpen their skills before taking a shot. As the team receives more feedback from players, more features and elements will be added to the build.
Nonetheless, Midnight Society is about to kick off its very first Founders Event in Los Angeles on July 29th. Guests will be able to meet up with founding members and talk about the first Snapshot of Project Moon.
