DragonMaster Reveals New Multi-Chain Whitepaper
News

Magic Hat, the developer of DragonMaster, has recently revealed a new multi-chain whitepaper for their play-to-earn Polygon-based title, in which they talk about the research they’ve done regarding cross-chain technology so far while sharing the various changes they have in store for their blockchain game as a result of their research.

As the company’s vision for the game is that of a multi-chain one, they talk about two different models used in the development of traditional video games: multi-server mode and multi-device mode. The former revolves around having the same gameplay across all servers, but not the same economic data, meaning that players cannot play with or against each other across different servers, and each server has its own independent data that can be reset without affecting the economy present in other instances. With the multi-device mode, the data is shared across all servers, allowing for cross-platform play where players on mobile devices can play together with their PC friends. This latter mode, the multi-device mode, is the one the studio is the best one for their game, as it’s the one that is most in-line with their multi-chain plan that will allow players across different blockchain networks to interact with each other. As such, the changes that will be introduced conform to this cross-chain, consumer-friendly plan.

According to this new whitepaper, no matter which supported network you choose to play in, you’ll still be able to team up and play with your friends who may be using a different chain to play the game.

Season 10 of DragonMaster is currently still underway, having started on March 2nd and set to end on April 2nd with a prize pool of 242k DMT up for grabs.
