Drunk Robots Releases New Equipment Containers
News

The Drunk Robots team has announced the release of new equipment containers for their play-to-earn title.

These new containers have been implemented “on the blockchain through smart contracts” for the time being. They can be found in the shop section of the dashboard, and can be bought using $METAL that is stored on your MetaMask wallet. The tokens from the dashboard cannot be used for purchase and reroll in this case.

Every robot has 2 different containers, with each container featuring differing clothes. A container costs 2500 $METAL and randomly drops 1 out of a possible 9 equipment items upon opening, 5 of which are common, 2 are rare, and 2 are of epic rarity. Every 15 days the containers will change, meaning that the old ones will no longer be available for purchase, but those who own them will still be able to open the containers if they have them in their inventory.

When opening a container, you’ll have to decide whether you want to claim the item given, or do a reroll before being able to buy another container. As for rerolls, you can do it as many times as you want, giving you a chance to get a different, rarer item from the bought container. While there are no limits to the amount of times you can reroll, that doesn’t mean that the price of rerolls stay the same. Every time you choose to reroll, the price will rise by a certain amount depending on how many times you have already rerolled. For the first time, it costs 100 $METAL, for the 5th time it’ll cost 500 $METAL, and so on. The official post can be found here.
