Dvision World 2.0 Beta is Going Live with its First Meta-City Seoul
Users can expect upgraded UI, new in-game content, and more immersive experiences in the brand-new Dvision virtual realm.
Meet Dvision World 2.0 - Dvision's upgraded metaverse in Beta
Dvision Network, a new VR content ecosystem, is launching Dvision World 2.0 and its first meta-city, Seoul, on December 14th. Users can expect upgraded UI, new content, and more immersive experiences in the upcoming virtual world.
For a start, Dvision Network is a multichain metaverse platform built on the Ethereum, Enjin, Polkadot, and Binance Smart Chain networks. Powered by $DVI (Dvision Token), the VR-based ecosystem is comprised of three pillars: Meta-Space (NFT land), Meta-City (a collection of NFT lands), and an NFT marketplace.
Users can utilize Meta-Spaces or lands in the metaverse to build and create their preferred content. This can be anything from gaming to academic content, commercial, entertainment experiences, and more.
After creating their avatars, users will first spawn in the Dvision World, the main lobby that connects all Meta-Cities. Seoul is the first Meta-City to go live. However, the team will launch up to 20 cities in the future to form a much more vibrant metaverse.
Apart from developing their virtual plots, users can also engage in the P2E aspect of Dvision. How it works is that in each Meta-City, a portion of its land can only be unlocked through the LAND Purification Process. It is a virtual battle game where players dispatch PET NFTs to remove infected monsters around occupied areas.
In the early stages, 40% of Meta-Cities' plots will be infested by such monsters. Once the LAND is cleared, it will be automatically auctioned off in the NFT marketplace. Those who took part in the process would receive $DVI based on the number of monsters eliminated.
For instance, a 1x1 parcel with 500 monsters got purified and was sold for 1,000 $DVI. If you managed to remove 10 monsters on that plot (2% contribution), you would receive 20 $DVI tokens in return. This will allow players to take part in and drive Dvision's virtual economy directly. If you haven't seen it, here's a quick preview of Dvision World 2.0:
