Ertha Beta v0.4 is Launching With Major Visual Upgrades in December
The upcoming patch will introduce a fully revamped visual experience, new mechanics, UI updates, and QOL improvements.
Players can expect Ertha to get a visual overhaul soon
Ertha, a 4X MMO game, is releasing some major upgrades in an upcoming Beta patch - v0.4. The update, previously known as v0.3.5, was rolled up to v0.4, as the team reckoned that it would be bigger than initially planned.
Dubbed the Ertha Graphical Update, Beta v0.4 will launch on December 13th, bringing in a fully revamped visual experience, new mechanics, UI updates, and QOL improvements.
The team hasn't shared any leaks about what an improved version of Ertha would look like. However, Beta v0.4 is going live on macOS as well, so more players will be able to witness these changes at launch.
On top of that, the team is working on Ertha Landowner Update v0.5, previously known as v0.4. The upcoming patch will be released after v0.4, introducing landscape and terrain generation, terraforming, property building, inventory systems, and other mechanics for players to take care of their virtual lands.
More about Ertha
Inspired by Ubisoft's popular video game Heroes Of Might And Magic, Ertha is a 4X MMO designed to replicate a real-life environment, simulating actions that people have to perform in order to earn a living.
Ertha's metaverse is made up of 350,000 HEX land plots in the form of NFTs. But, unlike other metaverse games, Ertha is a replica of Earth with real countries and geography. Players can collect taxes, fees, and revenues from the different operations conducted by other companies or players on their HEX.
As of writing, Ertha is still pretty much in Beta. The official launch will happen when Ertha v1.0 is released in Q1 2023. Those who want to give it a try can download the game client and sign up for an account to access the Erthaverse.
