Fableborne Announces Play-to-Mint NFT Opportunity for Primordials Collection
The platform will reward the top player while offering everyone a chance to "play to mint" an NFT from their upcoming Primordials collection.
The Play-to-Mint Mechanism and Game Features
Fableborne is set to release its exclusive Primordials collection, featuring 2023 unique NFTs of magical companion animals known as Esperkin. With an air of mystery surrounding these creatures, players can expect captivating designs and potential in-game benefits upon acquisition. The minting of Fableborne Primordials will occur on Magic Eden, leveraging the Polygon network. While the exact date and base mint price are yet to be revealed, the minting process will take place in four phases, with pre-sale and T1 mints guaranteed.
Players have multiple opportunities to participate in the minting process. Winners of two upcoming Pixion League Pre-Mint events will secure a spot on the airdrop list for a free mint. The top rank player from the recently concluded closed playtest also earns a free mint, while the top three players in an upcoming Pixion League Pre-Mint Tournament will each receive a free mint.
Even players who don't finish first have a chance to mint at a discount. The top 35 participants in the League events can mint during the pre-sale with discounts ranging from 25% to 70% based on their final rank. Additionally, the top 100 players in the Pre-Mint Tournament can also mint at a discounted rate, with discounts going as high as 90% for fourth to sixth place.
What is Fableborne
Fableborne is an action RPG and base-building game with an isometric viewpoint. Offering a mobile-first experience, players engage in multiplayer, asynchronous combat in the arena. They explore new islands, construct fortified bases, and unlock and upgrade Echoes of slumbering Heroes to raid other players' islands for resources.
In the game, players start with a basic island and a common Hero, but they must raid other bases and defeat PvE encounters to acquire additional resources and strengthen their base. Echoes are playable characters with unique skill and talent unlocks during leveling up. However, when an Echo is defeated multiple times, it begins to fade and can no longer be used for raids. Players have the option to reset a faded Echo, reviving it with full energy, albeit with the loss of all levels and talents. The refreshed Echo gains an ability boost to aid in the re-leveling process.
Fableborne aims to establish a "fair economy" where all players have the potential to unlock and own new heroes. Although players can purchase NFT heroes, the team is designing the game to ensure a balanced opportunity for all players to access these valuable assets. The game will also include leaderboards and regular tournaments, adding an element of competition and engagement for the gaming community.
