Faraland Announces New Crafting Feature: Blacksmith
With the new Blacksmith crafting feature, Faraland players can earn EXP whenever they craft an item, leveling up in order to increase the chances of getting the rarest version of an item.
Developer Moon Knight Labs has announced a new crafting feature for Faraland called Blacksmith.
This addition to the existing crafting system allows players to earn EXP every time they craft something, with the amount gained depending on the rarity of the recipe in question. Whether crafting a certain item turns out successful or not will depend on your Blacksmith level, as having a higher level will increase your chances of successfully completing the process, with the highest level being 10.
Every player starts from level 0 for this new feature, earning EXP to work their way up, leveling up after every 100 EXP. Getting to level 1 provides an increased chance of receiving the highest rarity of an item by 1% if it’s a Legendary or Mythical, but if it’s an Epic or lower then it’s 2%. These percentages keep on getting added on by 1 and 2% per level up respectively, meaning that once you get to max level, which is 10, you’ll have a 10% higher chance of getting the rarest item when crafting a Legendary or Mythical, while for Epics and lower it’ll be 20%.
The team has noted in the announcement article that earlier crafted addresses will count “towards Blacksmith skill points” and that a maximum bonus success rate will be set for both Mythical and Legendary items at 10%.
