Farsite adds in 2 new Stations and more in latest update
Two new Stations and more have been added in the latest update to the DeFi MMO RTS, enabling cross-Station trading, with each Station having its own marketplace for users to trade in.
The developers of Farsite, a DeFi MMO RTS, have a released a new update on August 25 that introduces a range of new features.
One of these is the introduction of 2 new Stations, with every station, which includes HOM, alongside the two new ones, NEXUS and MEBO, having their own marketplaces for users to trade resources in. Each market thus has differing prices for various different items, allowing players to potentially arbitrage across stations. There’s also a new Components market and production on Modules Components and Ship Components is now 5 times faster.
With the addition of new Stations also comes cross-Station trading as well as more storage space, with the capacity increased up to 3 times more storage on Stations. There’s also 2 times more storage space available on Sectors’ Warehouses, while Cargo modules come with up to 1.5 times more capacity.
Some of the future updates planned for launch include releasing an on-boarding tutorial for new players to help them get to grips with the blockchain MMO, creating a new website that’d include a catalog of interactive items and more. Farsite is currently available in alpha, which released last month after months of testing in pre-alpha. According to the roadmap, which is divided into 9 different phases with no specific timeframes given, the game seems to currently be in Phase VI, with a beta version planned for release in Phase VIII.
