Fiat Launches First Metaverse-powered Showroom
The automobile company plans to build functionality for the remaining cars in its “New” line by early 2023.

Fiat’s Metaverse Showroom
Italian automobile manufacturer, Fiat, has opened what seems to be the world's first Metaverse-powered showroom. The interactive showroom employs a technology that offers an end-to-end sales experience in the Metaverse. This intends to revolutionize the brand's customer service experience. This innovative approach has made the brand a front-runner in offering an immersive and simple brand experience. In addition, the Metaverse store was opened in the company's home country, Italy.
The virtual store features a 360-degree view of vehicles up for sale and many perks for customers. This includes exploring the infotainment system and how the different driving and EV charging modes work. In addition, customers can customize the car by choosing its body, interior, color, and other desired features. The New 500 La Prima by Bocelli is the only car available for viewing and purchase on the Metaverse store. In addition, customers can take the New 500 La Prima for a virtual spin using a driving simulator that follows a track called La Pista 500.

The FIAT Metaverse Store was developed in collaboration with Touchcast and Microsoft, which designed the experience for the FIAT brand. It provides customers access to the metaverse without requiring VR headsets or specialized hardware.
Furthermore, the virtual store will have a real-life customer service agent-Product Genius. This Product genius will guide customers through exploring the New 500 La Prima. The Product Genius will also be available Monday to Friday from 9 am to 8 pm and Saturday from 10 am to 6 pm. Customers can also complete the purchase of a car in the FIAT Metaverse showroom. The project will encompass the entire New 500 lineup by the end of 2022, with additional models and markets to follow by Q1 2023.
