Fitchin Launches Web3 Esports Community
The FitChin Esports community will allow players to enjoy certain privileges and access, compete in tournaments and earn rewards.
Fitchin has launched a platform that will combine digital sports, cryptocurrency, and blockchain games.
In a statement by the CEO, Santiago Portela, he said:
“Fitchin is the partner of choice for professional esports teams and content creators that want to grow their fan base through value-add experiences, while also generating new revenue streams.”
This development will enable the community to have member-only access to group hubs from top esports teams, compete in tournaments, buy limited edition NFT collections, and attend exclusive events.
The lead adviser and main brand ambassador is the CEO of KRU Esports, Sergio Kun Aguero, a retired soccer player, and gamer. He expressed optimism about the development, stressing that Fitchin will be an important gateway for inviting gamers into the crypto space. The platform will reward them with exciting benefits and experiences.
According to plans, the community will offer a four-pronged experience:
- The platform will allow players to play, join and compete in tournaments and earn badges, XP points, and P2E rewards.
- It will also connect gamers to their favorite teams and communities where they have the privilege to access benefits like private chats, voting rights, competitions, limited collections, and lots more.
- The community will be a marketplace where gamers can buy NFT collections and membership passes and get commodities from content creators and teams.
- It will host Fitchin Metaworld, a clubhouse where the players can interact, compete and showcase their exploits.
Fitchin was founded in January after a discussion between Portela and Aguero. It was birthed due to the need for a platform where teams and content creators can interact more with their communities and generate revenue. It has about 30 people and will be hosting several tournaments in days to come.
