Forest Knight launches Guilds feature
A basic version of the Guild system is now available, allowing players to create and join guilds, where they can socialize using the guild chat. In the future, the developers plan to add Guild Staking, Guild Wars, Guild Stash and Guild Missions.
Forest Knight developer Chrono Games has now added Guilds to its free-to-play turn-based mobile game.
For now, a basic version of it is available, which allows anyone to create a guild for 20k gold or 5k gems as well as join other guilds using the guild section found in the bottom left part of the town screen. Guilds have their own chat, so you can invite your friends over and converse there together.
The developers plan to release various guild updates across a couple of phases. Features planned to be introduced over time include Guild Staking, Guild Wars, Guild Stash and Guild Missions. Guild staking will allow guild members to stake tokens for each other, bringing “guild-wide bonuses for everyone.”
Guild wars also benefit the guild as a whole, with leaders of the guild picking “the best fighters to participate in a series of battles,” while a final score determines the winning guild. According to the roadmap on their whitepaper, this feature is slated for a Q4 2022 launch. Missions are described by the team as being a more varied version of expeditions, where players have to complete a minimum number of tasks in order to earn “buffs, rewards, and items.”
The Guild Stash is essentially a shared inventory that allows guild members to share virtual currencies with each other, which is a great way to help out new players. There may even potentially be guild wallets, allowing guildmates to also share NFTs and virtual items.
“Guilds are a core feature of the game. We want our players to socialize, join each other in guild wars, and share items. The current version will allow players to join guilds and chat with guildmates. The future phases will make guilds more engaging, dynamic, and exciting. We can’t wait to show you what we have in store, and we hope you enjoy guilds as much as we do.”
Forest Knight is currently available in early access on Android devices.
